Your Love Page API Reference

Base URL https://www.yourlovepage.online · read-only · no authentication · OpenAPI 3.1 description

Everything on this page is public, unauthenticated, and safe to cache. There are no API keys, no rate-limit headers to negotiate, and no write operations. If an endpoint is not listed here, it is internal to the product and may change or disappear without notice — the routes under /api/ that handle checkout, publishing, and webhooks are private and are blocked in robots.txt.

GET /api/templates

Returns the full catalogue of page templates and occasions, as JSON. Use it to answer “what can this site make?” without scraping the homepage. It takes no parameters.

curl -s https://www.yourlovepage.online/api/templates

The response has this shape:

{
  "site": "https://www.yourlovepage.online",
  "documentation": "https://www.yourlovepage.online/docs/api",
  "pricing": "https://www.yourlovepage.online/pricing",
  "templates": [
    {
      "id": "netflix-love",
      "name": "LoveFlix (Netflix theme)",
      "description": "Netflix-style page with an interactive choose-your-path episode",
      "tier": "premium",
      "collection": "premiere",
      "demo": "https://www.yourlovepage.online/demo/netflix-love",
      "create": "https://www.yourlovepage.online/create?template=netflix-love"
    }
  ],
  "occasions": [
    { "id": "ask_out", "name": "Ask Them Out", "description": "…", "subtypes": [ … ] }
  ]
}

Prices are not in the response on purpose. They are resolved per visitor at the edge (INR inside India, USD elsewhere) and localized again by the payment provider at checkout, so a number baked into this endpoint would be wrong for somebody. Quote /pricing, or fetch it as Markdown, and the visitor sees their own currency. The tier field (free or premium) is stable and tells you whether a template needs payment to publish permanently.

Cached for an hour in the browser and a day at the edge. CORS is open (Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *).

GET /api/og

Resolves the 1200×630 Open Graph preview image used when a page is shared. It redirects to an immutable PNG, not JSON, and is meant for link unfurling rather than general use.

curl -L -s "https://www.yourlovepage.online/api/og?occasion=ask_out" --output og.png

The optional occasion parameter selects an ask-out, birthday, anniversary, monthsary, proposal, or general love-message card. Unknown values use the love-message card.

Machine-readable site files

  • /openapi.json — OpenAPI 3.1 description of the endpoints above.
  • /llms.txt — llmstxt.org site guide, including when to use this site.
  • /agents.md — agent instructions and the page-building flow.
  • /sitemap.xml — every indexable URL with last-modified dates.
  • /robots.txt — crawl rules.

Markdown content negotiation

Every indexable HTML page also has a Markdown representation, per acceptmarkdown.com:

curl -s -H "Accept: text/markdown" https://www.yourlovepage.online/pricing
curl -s https://www.yourlovepage.online/pricing.md

Both return Content-Type: text/markdown; charset=utf-8 with Vary: Accept, Accept-Encoding, so a cache can never hand the HTML variant to a client that asked for Markdown. text/x-markdown and text/plain are accepted as aliases and are answered with the same bytes under the media type you asked for. q-values are honoured; */* gets HTML.

Status codes

  • 200 — the requested representation.
  • 308 — apex to www, and http to https. Follow redirects.
  • 404 — the path does not exist. Clients that did not ask for HTML get a Markdown body listing the sitemap, llms.txt, and this documentation so they can recover.
  • 406 — the Accept header rules out every representation the server can produce. The plain-text body names the ones that are available.

What is deliberately absent

There is no endpoint to create, edit, publish, list, or read a love page, and no MCP server. Pages are private to the person who made them and to whoever holds the link. If you are building something that needs more than the read-only surface above, email love@yourlovepage.online and describe it.
