Your Love Page Developer Docs

Everything machine-readable about yourlovepage.online, in one place.

Your Love Page is a builder for personal, single-page romantic websites. This page is the entry point for developers and AI agents: it lists the public endpoints, the machine-readable files, and the content-negotiation rules the site follows. Nothing here needs an API key, because there is no public write API — everything below is read-only.

Start here

  • Your Love Page API reference — Every public endpoint, what it returns, and what it costs (nothing — it is read-only and unauthenticated).
  • Your Love Page agent instructions — When an AI agent should reach for this site, when it should not, and the exact steps to build a page for someone.
  • OpenAPI 3.1 description — Machine-readable description of the public endpoints, served as application/json.
  • llms.txt — The llmstxt.org site guide: what this site is, which pages matter, and when to use it.
  • agents.md — Agent instructions in Markdown, including the when-to-use guidance and the page-building flow.
  • sitemap.xml — Every indexable URL with its last-modified date.
  • robots.txt — Crawl rules. Only /api/ and /auth/ are disallowed; everything an agent needs is open.

Markdown instead of HTML

Every indexable page on this site is available as Markdown as well as HTML, following acceptmarkdown.com. Ask for it in either of two ways:

  • Send Accept: text/markdown to the normal URL. The response comes back as text/markdown; charset=utf-8 with Vary: Accept, Accept-Encoding.
  • Or append .md to the path — https://www.yourlovepage.online/pricing.md is the Markdown form of /pricing, and /index.md is the homepage.

HTML responses advertise the alternative with a Link: <…>; rel="alternate"; type="text/markdown" header. q-values are honoured, so Accept: text/html;q=0.1, text/markdown;q=0.9 returns Markdown. An Accept header that asks only for something we cannot produce (for example application/pdf) gets a 406 Not Acceptable with a plain-text explanation rather than a surprise HTML page.

Errors

A URL that does not exist returns a real 404, never a 200 with an empty shell. Clients that did not ask for HTML — no Accept header, or */* — get the 404 as a short Markdown document listing the sitemap, llms.txt, and the docs index, so an agent can recover instead of guessing. Browsers keep the designed 404 page.

What there is no API for

There is no public endpoint that creates, edits, publishes, or reads somebody's love page, and no MCP server. Pages are created through the editor at /create by the person who is sending them, and published pages live at /p/<slug> where they are private to whoever holds the link. Agents should link a person to the editor rather than trying to automate it. If you need something programmatic that is not here, ask: love@yourlovepage.online.
